I. Foreword
Globalization era give double impact which is over and above open collaboration chance that one extent it internations, also open emulation that progressively tight and sharp at all work area.
1. The cabinet must be made as per drawing and instructions
2. Machines may be used for construction of project. Only Dovetail joints must be cut 100% by hand.
3. The first ½ hour is allowed for checking the wood pieces and studying the drawing, once started working, the competitor will not be allowed to ask questions and change materials.
4. All the pieces will have to be sanded to receive a polish.
5. During the fabrication, all the subject’s pieces must have the candidate’s number.
6. The face makings and setting out of the door and drawer must be handed to the judges for marking.( C and C2)
Note: on the drawer you only need to set out dovetail sides, front and
Back ,it must be made 100% by hand tools
7. Before gluing sections D1, D2, D3 and D4 it must be handed to the judges for making.
8. All surfaces must be fit for polishing (lacquering
9. The competitors must keep track of the time themselves; time will be stopped only in the cases of illness or accident.
10. Safety instruction will be given by the workshop manager.
11.The large circular saw are to used on the veneered panels only , use
12. Leave your own measuring equipment (rule etc)on your cabinet after
13. On the miter top and bottom panels you may use loose tongue or lamello.
14. Total Working time 22 hours.
15.A template for top shape work is available for layout only, it is to be
